During the last fiscal year, Shivam Cement earned a net profit of Rs. 65,48,52,000.
The company’s sales revenue and other income decreased due to increased production costs. Factors such as financial expenses, depreciation, and amortization also affected the company’s profitability. Additionally, the company faced significant impact due to the scarcity of liquidity and high prices of commodities like coal and diesel in the global market.

As a result of a significant decline in the net profit of the listed company in the production-based sector, the annual per share earnings decreased from Rs. 10.15 to Rs. 9.69. The net worth per share is Rs. 206.64, and the price-earnings ratio is 41.78.
After a decrease of 24.75% in Shivam Cement’s sales revenue until Chaitra, the overall financial condition has weakened. In the third quarter of FY 2079/80, Shivam earned sales revenue of only Rs. 5,45,81,60,000. In the same period last year, it had sales revenue of Rs. 7,25,33,93,000. The company’s net profit for the current fiscal year until Chaitra has decreased to Rs. 1,79,53,00,000.
During the review period, the company generated other income of Rs. 34,01,88,000. In the same period last year, it was Rs. 37,52,35,000. The company’s expenses decreased by 15.92% to Rs. 5,47,85,68,000.
Due to the high interest rates of banks and financial institutions in recent times, the company’s financial expenses increased by Rs. 2,70,63,000 to reach Rs. 7,24,63,000. Similarly, depreciation and amortization increased by Rs. 1,49,90,000 to reach Rs. 36,86,68,000.
When it comes to investments in subsidiary companies, the company’s investment increased by 16.27% to reach Rs. 4,26,21,00,000.
